The Quinn Funeral Home care does not end with the funeral ceremony. We realize that often the most difficult times follow the funeral, once family and friends have returned to their normal activities.
Grief is a natural human response to death and loss. Its pain is real and is best dealt with naturally. The body and mind will allow us only to deal with what we can handle, often overwhelming at times, Its affects and intensity will lessen in time. But, you know your life has changed and it is that change that we now need to learn to live with. Allow time, there is no quick fix to grief recovery.
Over the years The Quinn Funeral Home has developed their own grief resource library and those materials as well as many donated resources to assist the funeral director and the client family in aftercare services for the grieving. Lending a confidential listening hear can be very helpful for the families served.
Your Church and minister can be a great help, a close friend, or someone who has had a similar experience, grief counseling, and grief support are all healthy places to look for support.
